Research Interests:
My research interests focus on Late Quaternary environmental change. My students and I use a variety of biological and biogeochemical analyses of sediments recovered from lakes and peatlands to try to reconstruct high resolution records of paleotemperature and paleoprecipitation. The goals of this work are to better understand past environmental conditions and the factors that produced them, and to better anticipate future climate changes.
