Research Interests:
My main research focus is on spatial and temporal variability of water resources as related to climatic fluctuations. Current research projects include the identification of midtropospheric circulation patterns associated with maize production in central Mexico during ENSO events, local water budget variability for the past 50 years in the Great Plains, and soil water budget modeling using evaptranspiration estimates derived from satellite imagery.
