The students, faculty and staff sincerely appreciate the generous financial support we received. Contributions from alumni and friends are used to further the educational mission of the department beyond what our operating budget allows. This year, thanks to your help, we were able to purchase a new field vehicle to support our long-standing tradition of getting students out of the classroom and into the field, for hardware and software upgrades to our geospatial technology laboratories, for research and professional development support for graduate students, and for scholarships for undergraduate students.
